Yachts for more than 20 or 30 people are scarce and very expensive. For large groups the usual choice is a private catamaran: same plan, more space.

4 · Discover
What's included and what you order separately
- Included on every yacht: captain and crew, fuel, ice and cooler, Bluetooth speaker, life vests and insurance. Drinks: water, soft drinks and beer (on most yachts, 24 of each; each yacht page confirms it).
- On request, at a cost: prepared appetizers (ceviche, for example), snacks, special bottles, decoration and setup for celebrations, snorkel gear, photographer, DJ, extra hour and ground transportation to the marina.
- Paid there: dock tax. We tell you the amount before you pay.

5 · Plan
Three steps
- 1: choose the yacht, hours and date
- 2: reserve with 50%. The rest, ideally one day before; if you prefer, you can pay it at boarding.
- 3: arrive at the marina at the agreed time; we confirm which one when you book.
Book ahead: one week before in normal season; three or four weeks at Christmas, Easter week and in summer. If the port authority closes the port and the yacht does not leave, you change the date or we refund 100%.

How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Cancun?
From MX$20,000 for 4 hours for the whole yacht; it depends on the size and the hours.
Is the price per person?
No. It is for the whole yacht; the more people go, the less each person pays.
How many people fit?
It depends on the yacht; the search only shows you the ones big enough for your group.
What's included?
Water, soft drinks and beer on every yacht; snacks, bottles and decoration are ordered separately.
Can we go to Isla Mujeres?
Yes, from 6 hours: enough to get there, swim off Playa Norte (the yacht gets as close as it can and you jump in from there) and go ashore to eat or shop at the restaurants and shops with a dock. With 8 hours it is the most complete trip. With 4 hours you can only see it from the sea and come back.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes: you can bring your food, drinks, bottles and cake. For safety and to protect the sea, most yachts do not allow glass or disposables (straws, styrofoam, plastic cups and plates); we confirm the rules of your yacht when you book.
Where does it leave from?
Depending on the yacht, from one of the main marinas in the Cancun Hotel Zone: Aquatours, Sunset Marina, Puerto Cancún, Chac Chi, Barracuda or Kaybal. When you book we confirm the exact marina and time.
Do you do celebrations?
Yes: birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, proposals and weddings, with extras on request.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the Port Authority closes navigation and the tour does not leave, you choose: change the date or get a 100% refund of what you paid. If the tour does leave but part of it is suspended (the snorkeling, for example), it counts as done and there is no refund.
